I've finally installed the new stable version of Vbulletin 4.0. Of course, after every upgrade, I've learned a little bit more about the process and this time, I didn't wipe out all the work from the last upgrade!

I do still have to go through and reset the colors of some of the areas of the website. It's a tedious process because there's not a lot of documentation yet. I simply need to go through each variable setting and find the correct one for each color.

I've been told the final "Gold" issue of this forum software will be released on the 21st of December. They've started the final beta release cycle. Vbulletin actually does a great job on software releases and makes sure it is stable before completely released. It's a great product and based on the initial look of our new site, I'm glad I've chosen this as our frontend.

So, what's next? Well - once the final 'gold' version is installed, I'll make sure the template is still ...

A week has gone by since I've gotten the new software package installed. The colorization of the template is very time consuming as I have to go through the limited documentation and figure out where everything is located. Good news thought, vbulletin.com is starting to release some more detailed documentation on styles. This will make my job of formatting and creating the style so much easier!
