I've been told the final "Gold" issue of this forum software will be released on the 21st of December. They've started the final beta release cycle. Vbulletin actually does a great job on software releases and makes sure it is stable before completely released. It's a great product and based on the initial look of our new site, I'm glad I've chosen this as our frontend.

So, what's next? Well - once the final 'gold' version is installed, I'll make sure the template is still intact. Making sure I understand how everything works, and then the promotional period will begin. I get a lot of member submissions every day - but they're all spammers now. HOPEFULLY, in the near future, we'll have active members!

In the mean time, I'll keep plugging away at this and try to get everything working smoothly. In time, I hope the site grows and becomes a great resource for Trail Running. Even though there are no members at the time of this writing I still feel compelled to write this out. Who knows, I might even write something that will come in handy later!
