Thread: Welcome to Trailrunnerworld.com: Introductions

  1. #11

Hey Guys! Thanks for coming over! This is the newest software from Vbulletin and eventually, I'll push it to Kickrunners.com. So feel free to push all the buttons and contribute to the varied forums. Once you put a trail review in, I'll put a pin in our map. Check out the 'Video's section. If you find any great Trail Running videos, feel free to link to them and we'll add them there. You can also insert youtube video links directly into your posts as well - and in the blog area.

    Best,

    Rich

    Hello,

My name is Jim, just Jim from NC.

    I like puppies.
    I don't like cold.
    I don't like rain.
    I like beer.
    I like summer.
    I like food.
    I am slow...
    ....and I like that.

This madness/mid-life crisis started less than a year ago when I finished my first Ultra, 50 miles at Umstead.

    Since then, I have finished three 50K's, two 24 hr runs, a 100K and a 100 miler.

Umstead this year will be my second 100 miler, Javelina will be my third (or fourth depending on how Hinson Lake 24 hr goes)

Next up in my quest to finish an ultra or marathon every month in 2010, is the Pilot Mountain Payback marathon http://www.pilotmountainpayback.com/ looks like it is 13.1 up, then 13.1 down - calf burning, followed by quad frying. I might like that. I might not.
